☩ Diagnosis 003 [Action]
[Two days ago, Yukio was surprised to find this sitting outside the door to his room. Pretty surprising since he hadn't received anything like this since he was back home and near-constantly battling against enamoured schoolgirls every lunch time. It was clear the gift had an incredible amount of thought put into it, any idiot would be able to tell that just by looking at the way the flowers were arranged.
Having expertly taken the pot of flowers into his room, making sure not to catch the attention of any brothers or metal birds, Yukio places the flowers on the window sill in his room and stares at them. Then at the note that came with them. It was clear Shiemi was behind this, it's difficult not to pick up whose careful handwriting it is when you've marked and corrected so many tests with the same penmanship before now.
He spends the next few minutes reading the note and glancing at the flowers each time one is explained. By the time he's done reading the note he finds himself smiling without even noticing his own expression had changed. It was a strange but welcome relief for him to be able to lose himself if only for a moment in something as simple as a note and a bunch of flowers.
Needless to say, the flowers have yet to have left his room and even after they wilt chances are he'll be keeping the pot they came in.]

[With the exceptional weather today Yukio is sitting outside in front of House 15 with a book in his hands. It's a medical text or something to do with biology, whatever. His mind isn't really focused on that but on the note that came with the flowers, which he happens to be keeping hidden behind the book. Every so often he stops reading, glances over to the note, turns back and carries on.
He should probably actually thank Shiemi for the flowers at some point rather than just avoiding the subject. They live in the same house, it'll have to come up eventually! Too bad he's not too sure how to go about doing this. The genius student representative and cram school teacher can't figure out the right way to say thank you, pfft. It's not like he hadn't thanked Shiemi before, but a simple 'thanks' really couldn't do the flowers justice, surely. Maybe he's just over-thinking things.
Every now and then as he reads his eyes trail off and away from the page to stare at the ground, that tree over there, or just off into space. It's obvious his mind is somewhere else and not on the book in his hands. Eventually realising he isn't going to get anything done he gives up on the book and heads back inside.]

[Later, having decided to leave his thoughts on flowers, notes and such at home, Yukio heads out to the library. His goal: Recover any copies of Jump Square he can find. Every other time he's shown up at the library looking for the same thing it seems there's nothing here. But today he's determined to at least leave with something.
Admittedly whilst he had decided to mull over the flowers at a later date the thoughts about his brother and his flames were always with him. It was the sort of thing that was always there, when he woke up to when he fell asleep. Whilst he can't just put these thoughts aside and stop worrying for a moment, he can at least try to focus on something else, like manga, just for a moment.]
(Feel free to catch Yukio outside of House 15, on his way to the library or inside it!)

B (hope this is alright!)
...The bright, chaotic cover caught his eye, okay. Even in the fiction section (which he's been steadily plowing through for two months), that's unusual. Complicated illustrations are one thing; this thing is a visual cacophony and requires investigation.
So when Yukio comes to find the volume, he'll find it being picked up and flipped through by a confused unicorn man.]
...Pictures...?
[seriously what is this]
(its fine!)
Yes, pictures. Are you familiar with the series at all?
[Since you seem to be a little baffled there dude.]

I've never seen a book like this before. Using illustration to convey all but the dialogue-
[...he...thinks? A lot of this is just confusing.]
It's hard to follow what's happening.

[He's never have trouble reading this sort of thing. Heck, neither has Rin.]
I'm guessing this is your first time reading manga.

[Translation: yes.]

... Style. Japanese styled comics essentially, as opposed to western comic books which are drawn and presented differently.

[tbh it's pretty cool...]

[Calling it literature might be a bit of a strong word, but plenty of series get light novels and all sorts made off of them. So sure, literature, why not.]
There's probably plenty of other comics around here too, or at least there should be. Excuse me for asking, but have you seen any magazines with the title 'Jump SQ' here?
[Assuming this guy might know what a magazine is, even if he didn't know about manga.]
